WEBAug 18, 2019 · I would suggest using scrap fabric and experimenting with stitches 35 through 39 to find the one you like. You can also 'flip' the stitch so it sews a mirror image and the grab stitch is on the opposite side from what is shown on the stitch chart.

WEBJul 10, 2012 · Oh I thought of something else that might help. I went back in to sew and got a fabric mess. I am piecing again. I looked at settings and realized I forgot to change the stitch length. This Janome default stitch length is 2.2-way too small in my opinion. I changed it to 2.5.
